What do we rent?
We currently have one 32 foot Sunseeker Model 3170DS by Forest River. The RV is on a Ford F-450 drivetrain. Forest River is known in the RV world as having an impeccable reputation for quality built RV’s. We also have a Class A Tiffin Allegro for rent.
How much is your deposit?
All reservations require a $400 deposit. This can be taken with cash, check or charge. It is best if you use our Availability page to select your dates and pay your deposit. We will be notified of the booking and you will get a receipt. You will be brought to a PayPal page to complete payment using a credit card or PayPal.
How much is your security deposit?
All reservations require a $1,000 security deposit BEFORE you pick up the RV. This is a hold on your credit card NOT a charge. The hold will be in place for 10 days. This security deposit is to ensure the RV returns to us clean and undamaged. The rental insurance you are provided has a $1,000 deductible. How Old Must You be to Drive
Our insurance carrier MBA Insurance requires that a driver must have a valid Driver’s License and be at least 28 years of age at the time of rental pickup.
What do I do if I have trouble on the road?
MBA Insurance offers 24/7 roadside assistance at an additional charge. WNY RV requires anyone traveling over 120 miles to purchase the roadside assistance. WNY RV Rental LLC is responsible for maintenance related costs. Examples: of this may be a flat tire, rv overheating, engine trouble etc.
How much does it cost to use the generator?
We allow one hour per rental night of generator usage. There will be a $4.50 per hour charge based on the digital generator meter located on the panel above the fridge. We offer unlimited generator hour packages.
When is pick up and drop off?
Pick-ups are scheduled between 12:30 pm and 9:00 pm and may be the day before your rental begins (At no charge) if the vehicle is NOT rented. They’re scheduled this way because we may not be available during the day of pickup. We need the time to make sure each unit is prepped and cleaned for the next customer. The pick-up and drop off days are not billed as two separate days but as one day.
How many free miles are included with a rental?
We allow 125 free miles per day. That equals 875 for a week. You will be charged 45 cents per mile after the allotted miles have been exceeded.
Do you rent for longer than a week?
Yes, we prorate the weekly rate for the amount of days you’re looking for. The weekly rate of $1,700 / 7 = $243 per day. So for example, a 10 day rental would be $1,700 + (3 x $243) = $2,429. A week + rental requires an additional fee of $200 for the dumping of black and gray tanks and refill of the propane tank.
Do you rent for less than a week?
Our three day rental is $1,175 + $150 for dump of tanks and propane for a total of $1,325. We do NOT have daily rentals.
How is insurance handled?
We provide you with MBA RV Renters Insurance while driving the motorhome. This covers the driver for up to one million dollars in liability. This insurance carries a $1,000 deductible per incident which is the main reason why we require a $1,000 security deposit. If you would like additional coverage, consult with your existing insurance provider and ask for a ‘Binder’ for the duration of your trip. Most drivers in NY are already covered. Some insurance companies require information from us to provide you with a rider policy for the duration of your rental.
Do I need a special license to drive a Motorhome?
Some class “A” and “B” motor homes depending on their weight do require a special license. Our Class C Sunseekers and the Allegro do not require any special licensing. If you are comfortable driving a truck or minivan you will be fine driving either Sunseeker. Both units includes a 7″ rear view backup camera. The side mirrors are part powered with the lower part designed for seeing who is on either side of the RV when on the road. If you are unsure if you will be able to drive the unit, schedule an appointment in advance to take a look at take it for a drive. We also welcome any renter who has provided a deposit to schedule time to drive the unit before your departure to become more familiar with the RV.
What appliances are included in the rental?
The kitchen has a fridge with freezer, microwave, three burner stove. in the kitchen we provide a four slice toaster and a Coffee pot. Upon request we can include a portable charcoal and /or propane grill.
What chairs, tables and other camping accessories are included?
Upon request (submission form) you may request fold-up chairs, table(s), propane camping fire pit, cabin tent, 12 x 12 commercial grade popup tent, grill table, mini tables etc.
Do I need to bring by own sheets, blankets or pillow cases?
We will be providing fresh towels, sheets, blankets and pillow cases for each rental. Bathroom toiletries, garbage bags and cleaning supplies will also be provided.
